If you've previously had children, but it's been awhile, this class is for you! In the whirlwind of just one evening, our nursing staff will review all of the information covered in the Expectant Parent Classes. Since you're experienced, we expect that a few pointers and brief discussions will help you recall most of what you'll be facing when a new baby blesses your family! Are you a First Time Parent? In three evening sessions our nursing staff will teach and discuss the stages of labor, comfort measures for labor, nutrition, exercise, and baby care including feeding, bathing and safety. Pope County's Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) center will provide parenting information along with Family/Friends CPR on the third night of class. You will leave the course feeling much more prepared for what lies ahead as you welcome a precious baby into your life! Cost is only $20 for all three classes; waived if you qualify.
