Dr. Althoff is originally from Ohio, where he started his surgery career. He has recently worked in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. He earned his medical degree from The George Washington University Medical Center in Washington, DC. He did his residency in general surgery at GWU, as well. During his residency, he was drafted and served as a flight surgeon during the Vietnam War. |

Dr. Brown is a native of Mankato and received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Mankato State University. He attended the University of Minnesota Medical Schools in Duluth and Minneapolis. Dr. Brown has completed his family practice residency, family practice surgical fellowship and has been involved in the practice of Laparoscopic surgery. He has been in Glenwood since 1984. |

Dr. Haus is a native of St. Michael and received his Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Cloud State University in biomedical science. He is a graduate of the University of Minnesota Medical School. He has received specialized training in cardiology and women’s health. Dr. Haus joined GRHS in August of 1997. |

Dr. Johnson is a native of Fargo. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Concordia College and attended medical school at the University of Minnesota, Duluth. He has received additional training in a wide range of adult and child medicine. Dr. Johnson came to Glenwood in 1990. |

Dr. Kallimel is a graduate of Kottayam Medical College in India. She recently finished her training at In His Image Family Medical Residency Program located in Tulsa, OK. Dr. Kallimel looks forward to providing care for patients with a variety of medical needs. She began providing care at Glacial Ridge Health System in January 2008. |

Dr. Mellgren is originally from Long Prairie. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree from St. Olaf College and is a graduate of the University of Minnesota Medical School. Dr. Mellgren's post graduate training was through the Duluth Family Medicine Residency Program where he pursued specialized training in C-sections, obstetrics, dermatology, endoscopy and other surgical procedures. He looks forward to practicing rural medicine and will begin seeing patients March 2008. |

Dr. Montenegro is a native of the Philippines and completed his medical education at West Visayas State University, Philippines. He completed his family practice residency at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. His special interests in medicine include medical procedures, family medicine and obstetrics. Dr. Montenegro began his medical career in Glenwood in August of 2002. |

Dr. Schlueter is a native of Fergus Falls. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Moorhead State University in psychology and is a graduate of the University of Minnesota Medical School. He has received special training in obstetrics and geriatrics. He came to Glenwood in 1982. |

Dr. Westberg is a native of St. Cloud, Minnesota. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Cloud State University in 1994 and attended medical school at the University of Minnesota, graduating in 1998. He did a graduate assistantship, from 1995-1998, in pediatric cardiology. Dr. Westberg is also a physician/surgeon in the United States Army National Guard. Dr. Westberg’s special medical interests are in obstetrics and family medicine. He has been at GRHS since 2000. |

Beth Ankeny is a native of Groton, South Dakota. Beth completed her Bachelors of Science in Nursing at the University of North Dakota in Fargo. She completed her Masters of Nursing Practitioner at the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks. Beth has special interests in women’s health and pediatrics. She is able to provide complete pre-natal care and be present for the delivery, but one of our physicians would deliver the baby. Beth has been at GRHS since August 2005. |

Jessica van der Hagen is a native of Villard, MN. Jessica completed both her Bachelors of Arts in Nursing and Masters of Nursing Practitioner from The College of St. Scholastica. Jessica's interests are health promotion and disease prevention in the areas of women’s health and pediatrics. She is able to provide complete pre-natal care and be present for the delivery, but one of our physicians would deliver the baby. Jessica has practiced at GRHS since July 2006. |
