and rest is an important part of patient hospitalization. Therefore, we have established visiting hours so our patients can receive the best care possible. Visiting Hours vary by patient and reason for hospitalization.
While an important part of the healing process is also visiting with family and friends, our patients may request limitations on their visiting hours or number of visitors. We appreciate your understanding if a nurse informs you of a limited visitation request by the patient.
11:00am-8:30pm
• Immediate family members of patients going into surgery or critically ill patients may visit in the morning.
11:00am-8:30pm
• Parents are welcome anytime. Children under 12 may only visit with permission from the patient’s nurse.
1:00pm-4:00pm and 7:00pm—8:30pm
• Fathers are welcome anytime.
• In order to promote the well-being of the mothers and baby, please refrain from visiting if you are ill. Wash your hands in a public restroom before and after visiting mother and baby.
• DO NOT sit on the bed.
• Limit frequency and duration of visits to allow for rest.
• Maternity patients are hospitalized for a very short period of time. To ensure adequate rest during their stay, they may wish to limit visitors. They will inform their nurse if this is the case and we will see to their request.
For privacy of all patients, visits with members of the clergy can be arranged at the patient’s request. Patients may arrange their visit prior to admission, or they may request that the admissions personnel or nursing staff contact their clergy.
The dining room is located in the lower level of the hospital near the elevator. Continental breakfast is available anytime and lunch is served daily from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. If you are visiting a patient, guest trays are also available during patient meal times.
All mail, flowers and gifts addressed to a patient will be brought to their room by hospital staff. Any items received for you after your discharge will be forwarded to their address. Any letters to be mailed out may be given to a member of the nursing staff who will see that they are mailed from the Business Office.
Due to allergies of some individuals, ONLY latex free balloons are allowed in the facility. We use virtually all latex free products when a latex free alternative is available.
