The Glacial Ridge Fitness Center is a complete workout facility offering a variety of cardio and weight training equipment as well as an array of group fitness classes designed for all ages and abilities. The facility has a sauna as well as full men’s and women’s locker rooms. Our friendly staff is always available to assist you and to answer any questions you may have.
The fitness center features a sauna, classes, weights, weight machines, treadmills, stair masters, exercise bikes, elliptical machines, and more.

Upon joining the Fitness Center, you’ll have the opportunity to go through an equipment orientation with a trained team member. We highly recommend you go through the orientation, during which our staff will explain what each piece of equipment is used for and how to achieve the best results and minimize the risk of injury.

We offer personal training packages to help you meet your health and fitness goals as quickly as possible. Our certified personal trainers will motivate, inspire and encourage you to reach for your full potential. We will also educate you on proper exercise techniques and the best types of training for your goals. An initial wellness assessment is free with your paid membership.

Visit pass memberships are vaild for 6 months from the date of purchase. Membership fees are nonrefundable and memberships are nontransferable. We accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover cards.
Health Insurance Incentives
We work with a variety of insurance companies to give you the most affordable membership possible. Currently we accept BlueCross/BlueShield of Minnesota, UCare, Preferred One, Humana, Medica and Health Partners. Please keep in mind some insurance plans within those companies are not included. If you are unsure if you qualify, stop by and we will help you find out.
SilverSneakers and Silver&Fit
We are proud to be a part of both the SilverSneakers program and Silver&Fit. These plans are for seniors and provide memberships at absolutely no cost to the member. Not sure if you qualify? Stop down and we’ll help you find out!
Group Fitness Classes
Body Sculpt – Strong is the new skinny, and here’s where you’ll get it! Our Body Sculpt class focuses on building overall strength and adding definition to all of your muscles.
Cardio Blast – Torch calories and burn fat with a class that gets the heart pumping!Cardio Blast includes dance moves, intervals and boot-camp exercises to get your heart rate up and keep it there. If you’re tired of the same old treadmill routine, give this class a try!
Cardio Pump – A low-impact workout which lets you work at your own intensity It is for all fitness levels, including cardio and strength training. It’s a great choice for anyone from beginner to expert!
Step it Up! – Get a great cardio workout using the Step. Instructors will lead you through easy movements that take you on, over and around the step to create a fun and energized workout.
Tone – Our tone classes each focus on a particular muscle group (upper body, butts & guts, and lower body). We also include a little bit of cardio to get the heart pumping, but not so much that you’ll get too hot and sweaty. This class is perfect for your lunch break!
Warrior Sculpt – Yoga with weights is what you get in a Warrior Sculpt class. You can also skip the weights for a lower intensity Yoga workout.
Yoga/Pilates – Our Yoga/Pilates class combines the body conditioning moves of Pilates with Yoga poses.
Memory & Balance – Our Memory & Balance class is designed to help keep your mind sharp and your balance strong. Your instructor will lead you through fun, simple exercises to accomplish both of these goals!
SilverSneakers Musclar Strength & Range of Movements – SilverSneakers core class for total body conditioning. An instructor guides you through functional, daily exercise activities with resistance tools to be used at your own pace. It improves your overall strength, flexibility, posture and balance.
SilverSneakers YogaStretch – YogaStretch is for everyone and offers a variety of safely designed movements to increase flexibility and balance, with restorative breathing exercises to promote stress reduction and mental clarity. It increases joint range of movement, strength and balance, and helps with relaxation.
Cardio Circuit – Cardio Circuit offers heart-healthy, non-impact aerobic choreography alternated with upper-body strength work with hand-held weights, elastic tubing and the SilverSneakers ball. It improves cardiovascular health and muscular endurance. It is safe and effective for members with cardiac and respiratory ailments. A chair is available for seated and/or standing support, stretching and relaxation.

Physical Therapy Transition
Upon completion of physical therapy, patients are given the opportunity to use the Glacial Ridge Fitness Center free of charge for one month. During that month, patients meet with one of our certified trainers who will help them to continue to build on the progress made in physical therapy, as well as design a plan for total body wellness.
