Our fully-integrated wellness center sets the stage for a comprehensive, medically-integrated environment focused on your total well-being, ranging from day-to-day health maintenance to weight loss programs and special medical and clinical programs. It’s our mission to equip our community with all of the health, wellness, and fitness tools needed to live empowered.

Better Health at Glacial Ridge

The Glacial Ridge Wellness Center encourages a healthy lifestyle by offering programs and equipment for all ages and abilities.

Our complete workout facility offers a variety of cardio and weight training equipment including:

  • Free weights
  • Weight machines
  • Treadmills
  • Exercise bikes
  • Elliptical machines
  • Medicine balls, stability balls, bands, etc…

And more! Each machine has adjustable settings for mild to intense workouts.

With a variety of group classes offered, you’re sure to find one or two that are the right fit for you! If you have any questions along the way, our friendly staff is always available to assist you and to answer your wellness questions.

Equipment Orientation at Glacial Wellness Center

Equipment Orientation

Proper training is important for your health and safety! We offer every new member the opportunity to attend equipment orientation with a knowledgeable member of our Wellness Center Staff.

During your training, our staff will:

  • Introduce each piece of equipment
  • Describe what areas it targets
  • Demonstrate how to achieve the best results
  • Explain how to minimize the risk of injury

  • Senior and Senior Family rates are for ages 65+
  • Students (Age 14-18; college students must show school ID)
  • Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a parent.

Visit Pass Memberships

  • 10 visit card – $25.00 (regular) & $21.25 (senior)
  • 20 visit card – $50.00 (regular) & $42.50 (senior)

Visit Pass Memberships are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase.

Membership fees are nonrefundable and memberships are nontransferable. We accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover cards.

Personal Training

Stay motivated with a little extra encouragement and direction! We offer numerous personal training packages to help you meet your wellness goals as quickly as possible from one-on-one sessions to group training with two or more.

Our certified personal trainers will:

  • Keep you motivated
  • Encourage you to reach for your full potential
  • Educate you on proper exercise techniques
  • Demonstrate proper training to achieve your goals

Group Support Classes

Strength in numbers! Working out with friends is a great way to stay motivated and keep your wellness journey on track! We’re proud to offer a variety of cardio, strength training classes, Yoga, Pilates and SilverSneakers classes. Read the descriptions below to find classes you’d like and view the printable class schedule. Follow us on Facebook for upcoming class reminders and wellness encouragement!

Body SculptBody Sculpt– Strong is the new skinny, and here’s where you’ll get it! Our Body Sculpt class focuses on building overall strength and adding definition to all of your muscles.

Cardio BlastCardio Blast– Torch calories and burn fat with a class that gets the heart pumping!  Cardio Blast includes dance moves, intervals and boot-camp exercises to get your heart rate up and keep it there. If you’re tired of the same old treadmill routine, give this class a try!

Step It UpCardio Pump– A low-impact workout which lets you work at your own intensity It is for all fitness levels, including cardio and strength training. It’s a great choice for anyone from beginner to expert.

4Step it Up!– Get a great cardio workout using the Step. Instructors will lead you through easy movements that take you on, over and around the step to create a fun and energized workout.

5Tone– Our tone classes each focus on a particular muscle group (upper body, butts & guts, and lower body). We also include a little bit of cardio to get the heart pumping, but not so much that you’ll get too hot and sweaty. This class is perfect for your lunch break!

6Warrior Sculpt– Yoga with weights is what you get in a Warrior Sculpt class. You can also skip the weights for a lower intensity Yoga workout.

7Yoga/Pilates– Our Yoga/Pilates class combines the body conditioning moves of Pilates with Yoga poses.

8Memory & Balance– Our Memory & Balance class is designed to help keep your mind sharp and your balance strong. Your instructor will lead you through fun, simple exercises to accomplish both of these goals!

9Cardio Circuit– Cardio Circuit offers heart-healthy, non-impact aerobic choreography alternated with upper-body strength work with hand-held weights, elastic tubing and the SilverSneakers ball. It improves cardiovascular health and muscular endurance. It is safe and effective for members with cardiac and respiratory ailments. A chair is available for seated and/or standing support, stretching and relaxation.

10Dance Fitness– Designed to get you moving, grooving, and working all areas of the body with hip-hop, ballet, modern, belly dance, and Latin inspired moves. No dance experience necessary!

Glacial Ridge Health Wellness Center

Introduction to Fitness– Not sure how to properly do a weighted squat? With the Intro to Fitness class, instructors guide you through fitness moves and routines using weights and other equipment. Perfect for beginners or if you want a refresher!

 

SilverSneakers and Silver&Fit

Age is just a number!

We are honored to be a part of both the SilverSneakers program and Silver&Fit. These plans are designed specifically for seniors and are offered at absolutely no cost! Find out if you qualify – stop by the wellness center and talk to our staff.

SilverSneakers Musclar Strength & Range of Movements

SilverSneakers core class for total body conditioning. An instructor guides you through functional, daily exercise activities with resistance tools to be used at your own pace. It improves your overall strength, flexibility, posture and balance.

SilverSneakers
YogaStretch

YogaStretch is for everyone and offers a variety of safely designed movements to increase flexibility and balance, with restorative breathing exercises to promote stress reduction and mental clarity. It increases joint range of movement, strength and balance, and helps with relaxation.

Transition

Physical Therapy Transition

We want patients to continue their wellness journey after completing physical therapy. It’s an important part of long-term success! That’s why we offer patients the opportunity to use the Glacial Ridge Wellness Center free of charge for one month!

During that month patients will:

      • Meet with one of our certified trainers
      • Build on the progress made in physical therapy
      • Design a plan for total body wellness
