Walk-In Clinic Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant

Casual position – one weekend per month at Glenwood Medical Center’s Walk-In Clinic
Opportunity for additional weekend shifts or family medicine shifts at any of our three clinics, as available

• Practice with clinical independence in a supportive, team-centered environment
• Modern clinic equipped with on-site lab and diagnostic imaging
• Part of a collaborative group of 30 physicians, NPs, PAs, CNPs, and CNMs within Glacial Ridge Health System

Our walk-in providers deliver same-day care for acute and urgent needs in a busy, fast-paced clinic—from respiratory infections and sprains to minor procedures and injuries. You’ll make confident, efficient decisions while keeping patient comfort and quality top of mind. With the Emergency Department just down the hall for cases requiring higher-level care, you’ll have the resources and support to focus on what you do best—providing exceptional patient care. It’s an ideal role for someone who thrives on variety, teamwork, and meaningful patient interactions.

Ideal Candidate

• 3–5 years of experience of clinical experience preferred, ideally in urgent care, family practice, or emergency medicine
• Able to work independently
• Skilled in independent assessment, rapid decision-making, and treatment planning
• Confident, compassionate, and committed to rural healthcare

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program with national certification through the appropriate board.
• Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of MN.
